Self-isolation – A note on psychological effects

The psychological effects of COVID-19 are receiving increased attention by researchers. The same cannot yet be said of the media, where daily news about infections and deaths continue grabbing headlines. Whilst not yet widely acknowledged, a notable psychological feature has been crystallizing out – conflict arising among group members self-isolating in small groups.

A piece of healthy advice for dealing with such conflicts is to isolate even more. Take some time out in a separate room, and let everyone calm down.
